I reached Mumbai airport. I waited for RD to come. We didn’t know there are different terminal for different airlines. I and mom were in one terminal exit and RD was in other terminal . e both were waiting to see each other but it took him half an hour to reach me. He look more handsome this time as he has reduced little weight.
Hospital report
I met a neuro-surgeon and orthopedist. Good news. All is well. I just need to contemplate on my physio. (for all the readers who aren’t getting what I am dealing with can read the label accident)
About Mumbai
First thing I noticed was the crowd, it sucks. Traffic sucks and it is over populated. Good thing is it has train line in the city. In every 3 km you have a platform so it is cheap and quicker means of transport. The crowd in train is so bad that if you don’t wanna get down also the crowd will push you out. So if you really wanna get down to a station without much effort just stay near the gate and the crowd will push you so much and you’ll find you are already out of train.

Mumbai vasiyo are friendly and not cheaters like Bangalorian’s auto driver. Sad thing is I didn’t see any film star :( The building appeared narrow to me as showed in movies. Old houses still standing which badly needs polished. Though the crowd is too much, it is a clean city, after all hamare film stay there.
Things I did
RD introduced us to a place called Fashion Street near Mumbai hospital. Some 100 stalls lined up and they sell cheap stuffs like bags, clothes and chappals etc.
You know ladies and shopping are like twin. Mom freaked out when she saw awesome stuff that too so cheap. She bought some nine bags and 6 pairs of chappals and tops for me. I usually feel awkward shopping at such places but then mom was so happy and I didn’t wanna spoil her mood. Slowly she is getting to understand my choice. This time she actually found my kinda girlie tops :) Jai Ho mummy ki.
One thing I badly wanted to eat was VADA PAU. Seriously it was incredible. We had finger licking Pau bhaji too. (mouth watering??? Hehe, Mumbai jao vada pau kaho)

vada pau
I met
My college friend Fiona. I think I have mentioned about her in my early post. A friend that I was very close to during college. She is like a elder sister. Because of her only I bunked 60% of my income tax classes and managed to get 80 % percent attendance as a whole at the end of term. She wasn’t a spoil gal but she had to do some unwanted stuffs like giving proxy or managing proxy for me and Shally (another good friend) through some other proxy giver. Oh and she is hyper energetic person and a novel lover too :)
As a whole my trip to Mumbai was awesome. Only thing is mom couldn't go to chaupati and marine drive, and such places cause of me. ( I think I need to build up my stamina as I get tired of walking very easily.

Marine Drive, Mumbai
RD tried his best to impress mom. He took her to famous bakery shop, one of his fav. in Mumbai, for breakfast but alas mom is a Indian food lover. She doesn’t like other thing. She managed to eat a veg. puff and little sandwich, a tea without milk :( that too tea bag types. Later she told me that she was hungry!! Shit!! Never mind. She acted contempt in front of RD...
Goodbyes with RD was as usual sad. While leaving he said bye to mom. I said pau chuo ma ka. He actually bent down to touch her feet :) and I hugged him goodbye :(
My flight to B'lore too was good. I chose jet airways. Will cont. the story about the man I met in flight (not a crush this time) in my next post.
P.S. I’m obsessed with a song called JAI HO of SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE.
