Bar Day..

As today is lazy Sunday lets have some fun making cocktail with some bar jokes.

I have copied some Recipe for my favorite cocktails.

Blue Margarita
INGREDIENTS
60 ml tequila, 30 ml blue curaçao, 2 tbsp lemon juice, Salt, Lemon slice
METHOD
Rub rim of cocktail glass with lemon juice. Dip rim in salt. Shake lemon juice, tequila and curaçao with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish: Lemon slice.

MEXICOLA
INGREDIENTS
45 ml tequila Coca-Cola Lemon slice
METHOD
Pour tequila over ice cubes in a highball glass. Follow with cola. Squeeze in a few drops of lemon juice. Stir. Garnish: Lemon slice.

Frozen Guava Daiquiri
INGREDIENTS
60 ml light rum 4 tbsp guava juice 1 tbsp lemon juice
METHOD
Put all ingredients into a blender. Blend for 10 to 15 seconds at low speed along with a cup of crushed ice. Pour into a chilled wine glass. Garnish: Lemon slice.

DRY MARTINI
What you need

• 4 to 5 ice cubes
• 1 and 1/3 measures gin
• 1/3 measures dry vermouth
• 1 green olive or 1 strip unwaxed lemon peel

Directions
1. Place the ice, gin, vermouth in a mixing glass.
2. Stir with a mixing spoon for 8 to 10 seconds.
3. Strain into a Martini glass using a cocktail strainer.
4. Place the olive in the glass. Alternatively, cut the strip of lemon peel with a paring knife.
5. Over the glass, pinch it between the fingers to release the oils - then drop it into the cocktail.
6. Serve immediately.

TEQUILA SUNRISE

Tequila Sunrise

"Long recipe cocktail to serve anytime” What you need • 5-6 ice cubes • 1 measure tequila blanco 100% agave • 3-1/4 measures pure orange juice • ¼ measures grenadine Directions 1. Place the ice, tequila and orange juice in the lower part of the shaker. 2. Fit the upper part of the shaker and shake vigorously for 8-10 seconds. 3. Strain into a highball glass using cocktail strainer. 4. Pour in the grenadine. Serve immediately.

Reebok has added a new dimension to women’s fitness with the launch of Reebok EasyTone. It is unique because it tones the butt and leg muscles by simply wearing a shoe! Lab tests conducted by Reebok show a marked increase in muscle activation due to the miniature balance balls underneath the shoe resulting in a dream product for women.

This product will help re-shape women across the world by generating upto 28 per cent more effective glute muscle toning. Featuring a new balance pod system invented by a former NASA engineer Bill McInnis, Reebok EasyTone is available across the sportswear major’s stores in the country.

Independent university lab tests proved that by wearing EasyTone, a woman could have up to 28 per cent more butt muscle activation and 11 per cent more thigh muscle activation as compared to one wearing an ordinary sneaker. HOW IT WORKS

EasyTone helps tone key leg and butt muscles by using advanced balance pods built into the shoe. These are designed to create natural instability with every step a person takes.This micro-instability forces muscles to adapt and in doing so, they work harder.

TESTING EASYTONE

McInnis and his team used a technique called electromyography, which involved sensory electrodes being attached to key muscles. These sensors measure the level of muscle activation as a woman walks. Over several months, a cross-section of women tested the shoe in this lab environment. In these tests, EasyTone was compared with an ordinary sneaker. (The figures in the pic below show the maximum increased muscle activation when using EasyTone compared to that of an ordinary shoe.

Troubled Mind

Sometime we open our heart to someone whom we think its worth and after some days we realised we did a blunder. Out heart trusts, hands moves front to firm a shake in order to build a new relation, arms open wide and we give them space close to our heart welcoming with a hug, a smile, a new dream, a new companion to walk with this journey of life.

At times we get so frustrated that we think its enough. No more new friends.

I have gone through similar stage. I felt, I've already many to take care plus I can't trust anyone anymore. Anyhow it doesn't stop there. Our soul is always in active mode searching for someone to be with. I wish at times we could live alone and need no one to depend on.

Through this phases of life which soaked me in so many drunken thoughts which made me realise the hangover will last forever. Someone whom we open our heart can give the most painful moments with heartaches and tearful eyes.

I still haven't forgotten the day i saw her for the first time. I was probably of 13 years old. The first time I saw her was in some party, pretty looking girl I ever saw. Blue dress with long lovely hair. I knew I wanted to be friend but I was the shy kid when it came to stranger. Somehow we met again after some years. Spend some time together and got to know each other better. I thought In spite of everything she is like me. She would understand who I really am. We would be good friends in future. We laughed together, cooked together and even hugged each other when the other was sad or felt home sick.

Those were great times. I even wrote poem on our friendship, describing her.

Days passed and instead of things turning from from good to better it went worse. I'm a girl who doesn't follow much ethics, I've my own norms and I believe in being practical, logical, do what I want to and let other people do what they want to. I don't understand why people have so many problems with other life. She was good, she never said anything. I even shared my personal space, my blog link with her. My own personal diary.

How much can you change yourself to exist in your society? For how long can you not be you cuz you know you have to accept some social factor which your heart doesn't wanna follow? My heart aches when I think of her. The day someone mentions or she turns up from somewhere my whole day gets disturbed. I think what did do wrong that our friendship took a turn. I am loyal to my friends. I take them seriously. But when I hate someone, I hate that person so much that I don't want to hear his/ her name either.

The good, bad memories flashes back but the pain in my heart are more than the smiles you gave to my lips. Its been more than a year but the memories are still so fresh no matter how hard I try to erase. I don't know when these pain will degrade.

I wish she doesn't follow me anymore. Don't read whats happening to me. Cuz I can never get back to her. Friendship brings smile not tears. It holds hands when we are shaky instead of leaving them to deserted, unknown land.

Its feeling much better to get back to converse and slip-ons, less limping and walking almost normally. Yeah people can still recognise some effect easily but who gives a fuck. I get to walk. Long shopping and walks are back in my activities. I even travel by bus now. Crowd phobia no more but still i choose less crowed places. I'd always been like that. Spoke to dad today. He wanted me to go for morning walk. Yeah dad no parks here only busy roads. Virtual walking also doesn't help except in my dreams.

Can't wait for exam to come and go. Most of the time I'm with my book but i don't feel like studying.

Bangalore is getting hot these days. Less rain and more heat. Najar lag gai meri Bengaluru ko, hayo rabba!

Excited RD will be in town tomorrow and I'm going to airport to grab that piece of hottie.

Random updates and music mantra

Another girl’s night-out. I love to stay at my friend's place for night-out. But I’m not very comfortable especially if the house is shared by some guy friends.

With family it always rocks. Yum food and so much pampering. I went to my college friend's home for night out. Went to a good restaurant for dinner. Mango. God. After ages I ate Mango. I miss my sister when it comes to fruits. She just loves fruits. How I miss litchi. Good litchi season is on, but not that great sweet, juicy litchi can be found now. I guess I need to wait for some more time, may be by June.

I'm not a morning person but when I go to Monika's place for staying overnight, we always wake up (not make out-* winks*) for morning breakfast. It’s fun for a change.

I'm not yet done with my resume, but it’s high time I gotta get it done and submit to my ex-supervisor.

My timings these days are so bloody screwed up. I sleep so late and wake up in afternoon. It sucks. I hate to eat rice as my first meal. I miss breaki :-( will try to wake up early from tomorrow at least for breaki.

I so can't wait for RD to be in town. I've been torturing my friends by talking about him and I gave order for my new foot drop splint. I hope with it on, I can wear something other than floater. Before accident I always longed to buy floater but instead I always ended up buying shoes and chappals. Now since my accident I only have option to wear floater cuz only that fits with my splint :-( I'm so done with it.

Have been watching gossip girl season three lately. My data till 18th May is almost been used so I can't download anymore. Exams are near and my mood to study is not there. It always happens with me, may be cuz I prepare way too early. At the end of it, it gets boring.

Writing this post on phone as it just rained and the electricity is not there. My lap top battery is drained out. I missed my serials. My torch light is getting dim. Ok now I put on a candle. Imagine! Thank god I have supplies.

I badly want a ride in limousine. Seeing Chuck Bass descend from his

limousine fuels my obsession of black cars.
