Missing you…

Every song reminds of you, the cold weather, the rain wants you to be here near me. The roses on the street, the couple on the road makes me wish you were here and we would walk hand in hand again.

My cute expression reminds me how you would react to it. ‘Baby do that once again, that was so cute'. When I don't feel like eating, I think how you used to force me to eat. Like a daddy you took care. Like a lifelong friend you are always here.

I need you. I miss you. I love you. <3 <3 <3

Bye bye Kolkata

Some days to go, and then I will leave this place, Kolkata. I never liked Kolkata mainly cuz of the colour yellow (yellow taxi) cuz of the infrastructure (the building are so crumbled up), cuz of weather (it is always so damn hot) but with passing time I realised there are something about this city that I havent come across anywhere. Taxi driver are very helping, they don't mind which Nukkad, which extra turn you want to take, no faulty meter; the amazing chai walas like Sharma's, Ajad Hind, I will never forget the mouth watering chicken tikka of Ajad hind and veg-chicken roll.

Chats of Vardhan road, the ministore of Vodafone who recharged my cell whenever I needed, all had to do is call him once and pay at my own convenience.

Kata tea- my tuition centre.They make amazing food in ground floor. during class break we have lunch in Katatea, and after lunch we had chai which helped us not to sleep in class. The tuition friends I made here Manish, Kushal, Ankur (you guys made my life easy, thanks).

From the starting of the day in Kolkata Gaurav has always been around. It was so much fun. I stopped cribbing about Kolkata when he showed me what Kolkata is all about. The day he left Kolkata I was so shattered, we tend to depend on others and we never realise. Though he had to move to GuwahatI for his job he was always there to guide me where to find stuffs I needed, how to reach there and every help possible.

Big Ben, someplace else, Aqua, Shisha, Aqua java, etc had been places I loved the most. Thanks god, some part of fantasy was covered and stayed alive cuz of someplace else. I guess it’s the only good place in Kolkata which played good rock music.

I also met Gautam, Varun. my new friends. (shit I didn’t make any girl friends, all are guys only).

Rahul bhaiya was there when i met with accident. He knows it all. thank god he was here to understand what i was going though. He helped me made my life easy. (my mom was always so scared that i wont be able to make it, it will be dark and it will be crowded and i wont be able to do it) With his hand in mind, trusting that he will take care, i walked the dark movie hall, sat near the aisle seat and watched angels and demons :) I made it. slowly things were getting easy. Diwali was not lonely as i had been to his house.

Varun had been a pampering boy. many times he used to pick me up from tuition class and we used to go eat samosa chai. It fun being around him.

I never liked eating, Kolkata made me fall in love with food.

My pg deadline rocked. before there was no deadline, now its reduced to 11 pm. but its still good. My pg is more like Flat. Early days I met my good and close friend Nikita and her bf Akshay. Those days were fun too, now they are studying in Canada, and they can’t stop cribbing about cold :P

I met my Blog friend Peter, we went to Afraa, Long Island Ice tea :) it was fun.

My roomie is the sweetest person i met in kolkata, Varsha. Already missing u varsha

I learnt to walk on the crowded road, I learnt to use the escalator again, my leg got better and I smiled again. Life seemed normal but now again a new challenge ahead. One more surgery makes me feel sick. Can’t stop thinking that I will be in bed again resting and my mom taking all the pain looking after me, again a pause and then drum rolls and here I come dancing, singing, and smiling tapping on my new foot wares :)

No more tring tring :(

Our landline phone, a constant and reliable companion for decades, was recently given a planned but unwilling farewell. Even though such a farewell was in complete sync with latest trends all over the world, one could not help but grieve for several days until one got used to life without its constant ‘tir-tir’ throughout the day. With the skyrocketing prices, and incomes frozen, the goodbye became a necessity. But it left a vacuum in our lives for days together. It had become, in a way, as lovable as any chatty family member. We had to give the phone up to deal with these times of economic hardship. I must confess that we got the idea from an international journal that said it was more economical and sensible to replace it with a cellphone. Anyway, there were already several mobile sets in the family. Keeping the landline cord buzzing as well was more a matter of the heart than of the mind. The mind overpowered the heart this time and the familiar ‘tir-tir’ sound was heard no more.
Quick research shows that the unfailing companion at home is being pushed out all over the world. In the US alone, there were 70,000 disconnections per year over the last two years, a phenomenal 10 per cent of total landline connectivity. If the trend keeps up, the last cord will be cut off in 2025. Guess which country tops in such cut-offs? Netherlands, among the first democratic countries, and the host to five international courts, has the highest rate at 25 per cent a year. Though we have no comparable data about India, one can say from anecdotal experience that this country may not be lagging far behind. A friend was heard telling another when asked about his landline number, ‘‘Which world do you live in?” Not having a landline at home and carrying multiple cellphones has become a status symbol. No wonder then that old handsets are fast giving way to the latest and trendiest smartphones. Gone are the days when only the rich and the famous could be seen showing off their fancy mobile phones. Some of us may even have good reason to take pleasure in the fact that Blackberries and iPhones have become the latest levellers. Who wouldn’t like to flaunt the same kind of mobile used by our politicians and top businessmen, after all!

Distraction

In a path of life Where I've prioritised certain things. My studies my family and RD. When I was working People said that to a working person who matters are family and gf/bf. They don't have time for others.

When I worked I gave one day to my bf and other day I spent with my friends. Catching up with everyone possible. I never gave up on my friends, they were equally important to me like RD, My better half. Now I'm giving my soul dedication to studies Cuz if I don't clear this time my dad won't be supporting me in future to study further. More them 6 subjects, and one month left for studies. There are times when the concentration level in zero and you know its waste sitting in front of book cuz nothing will go in your brain. It’s scary to talk or meet someone cuz it may lead to further distraction.

I've been composing myself. I need time to myself cuz I feel I've lost myself somewhere. Now I don't talk to much people on phone, don't even talk for long. Meanwhile I realised I've been missing RD, I so badly want to be with him.

Happy Diwali

Hi All,
Wishing each one of you a very happy and prosperous deepawali. May this year brings you lots and lots of happiness in life and fulfill all your dreams.

As the candlelight flame,
Ur life may always be happiness' claim;
As the mountain high,
U move without sigh;
like the white linen flair,
Purity is always an affair;
As sunshine creates morning glory,
fragrance fills years as flory;
with the immaculate eternal smile,
attached to u mile after mile;
All darkness is far away,
As light is on its way;
Wish all of u a very happy diwali.

Fashion talks on my page

Have been thinking about a fashionable Post lately. So here I am finally writing on it.

Mom used to buy me and Didi clothes and we never liked what she bought, We used to find what ever she used to buy so  “out of fashion” but with changes in time we realise its like a circular process, what’s out now can be in after some years. I don’t know how people suddenly accepts what’s In and what’s Out.

When i was in college, Long skirts were so In. Colourful mix matched combo of short Kurtas and long skirts. I think it highly depend on way you carry. Long skirt may not be in, But if you carry it well, I am sure you can leave some mouths open of roadsiders. Eg. Rani in kabi alvida na kehena and Hum Tum. She looks stunning.

What’s wow to me may not be wow to others. Therefore fashion is truely about once own choice to carry what one is wearing. Some mixes fashion with comfort and other believe fashion has nothing to do with Comfort. Sexy dikhne ke liye kuch toh compromise karna padta hai Types..

Some magazine shows What was hot and what was so not hot. They take detail note of all celebrity wears in some parties and later gossip about what went wrong are what was “ohh so right” and later apply the same style statement.

Didn’t you see Priyanka Chopra in one of the adds of shampoos ( i think some dandruff shampoo), where strap of her top suddenly falls and then she is so muddled, one second later she smiles, lets her hair down and make a tank top out of sleeve top. Gosh!!!

Some more updates..

Mann ka radio.. acha you guys too saw Himesh ka face expression when he sings “Mann ka radio” he has weird/no expression for Krishna sake =)). gam ko bhulke jeele tu jara.. Bolta toh hai, but he looks like as if he is singing that song in so much pain and frustration, now a days we don’t even see him in cap- his lucky charm has gone dhan tan tan taaaann. Dichiyaun!!  :D

Atif Aslam  has been singing so much lately that i am kinda done with his voice., Ab ye Dil mange More.. Hunt shuru karo bhai. The singer of Tum Miley sound so fresh, If I am not wrong it has to be Bombay Vikings,

Please Don’t Download all the songs of ..oh yes its out!!! madsi told me, songs of “Ajab prem ki gajab kahani” only two or three songs are nice. If you like loads of beats and little tranci type get yourself pampered with songs of Acid Factory, its just awesomeeeeeee specially the remix of Jab andhera hota hai.

Till then Enjoy, have fun I will be back soon.

Aaj kal ke beggars

Every day I travel by taxi and I see beggars in traffic signals. I wonder are they pretending or they really are what they showing. I have seen the movie traffic signal in which the female carries a kid, pretending to be her mother in order to gain sympathy of people stuck on traffic signals

Once I came across this Incident.

I was on my way to Hospital for physiotherapy, I saw a lady with a wounded child in signal. The lady was dressed like one of those of normal beggars and was carrying a empty tube of medicine in her hand and the child in other hand (supporting her waist). I was thinking what will she do of the money?? Will she really buy a medicine or give in to the collectors so that she gets her share and forget about the wounded child.

The movie has opened our eyes towards the beggars industry. We know what's the working mechanism and how falsely they portray themselves to gain sympathy. But what about the one who are naturally handicapped, badly need some money to buy a meal, What if we disregard them thinking them one of the subject of play called “begging”..

Guess what happened when out of sympathy i gave the lady 5 bucks, she gave me back and said “5 rupiya main dawai kaise kharidu?” (how do i buy medicine in 5 bucks). I took the money she left from the window in my taxi seat and by then taxi proceeded to its normal way.

I saw her next day, I see her even now.

Aaj kal ke beggars ke bhau bahut bhad gaye, if we give them one Ruppee they return us back.. berojgari itni bhi nahi hai, I m sure they can find job, kuch nahi toh work as maid or labour in some construction site rather than begging.. But lazy, crazy beggars.

I hate Kids

I hate kids. Yes rd loves them and wants to have a cricket team.. but Please. I don’t like kids. I don’t mind having a discipline kids around who keeps quite doesn’t do much shor sharaba and obeys when said anything.

Some kids are so smart, they don’t fiddle with things around in other’s house and some kids they can’t help exploring all the secrets in my house!!!

Yes guess who is home?? My sheitaan Cousins. Having hard time cause they are damn naughty, I know kids are suppose to be naughty but still.

Like we, Me, sis and bro, we are brought up in very strict environment. No talking loud, No loud tv and no tv after ten at night but we still used to mute and watch so that dad doesn’t realise we are still awake. I realised what he did to us that time was nice. Atleast when we were guest at others house we sat quite in one place we were shown to sit, spoke less to strangers and giggled less. In short well mannered, behaved.

May be now that we are grown up we can’t imagine us being so naughty, we were but still I think kids discipline totally matter upon their upbringings. If parents are strict to their kids, Kids will learn manners ,. What say people?
